NTAR website development

Over the last 6 months, we have been working closely with the team at NTAR (https://www.ntar.co.uk/) to develop a new site that not only looks good but can be easily updated by their internal team.

We looked at various platforms and options before settling on the final solution. With the platform agreed, we then set about defining the structure and site hierarchy based on NTAR’s target audience and website goals. We feel it is important to structure the site’s development in clearly defined stages, getting client sign-off before moving on to the next phase. This avoids unnecessary reworking and ultimately saves on cost.

Having agreed on the structure, our copywriter then set about producing the written content. This part of the process included interviews with key stakeholders, employees and lecturers. We also visited NTAR’s site in Northampton to finesse the final written structure and carry out some specific location photography.

The website has now been live for over a month, and the feedback has been really positive. Our contact at NTAR now has direct access to easy-to-understand statistical website data. More importantly, they can now manage, edit and update the content without any assistance from Zest.
